Jamblemag has been leading the next generation of green travelers since 2005. We're a green travel magazine with a difference. No yurts, vegan diets or anyone nagging readers to be responsible on their travels. Jamblemag is about adventure travel, urban travel, gadgets, the cutting edge - all while keeping environmental impact to a minimum.

The idea for Jamblemag was sparked in 2003, during my round the world trip. While spending time on pristine beaches in the Cook Islands, organic farms in New Zealand and a 100 million year old jungle in Malaysia, it became clear to me that unless we change the way we travel, some of the world's most spectacular and inspiring destinations will be lost.

Jamblemag was launched in 2005 to highlight green travel news from across the world and help travelers get greener. The site has since become one of the web's leading green travel websites, and is the only place on the web with comprehensive Green City Travel Guides.

Who we are

Ian Everett - Editor & Founder. Ian is a freelance travel writer and communications expert. His work has been published in The Independent on Sunday, the Guardian, Insight Travel Guides and Australia's Get Lost magazine amongst others.  Ian, originally from Wales, now lives in Illinois. Samantha Everett - Lead Designer. Samantha is a freelance designer, specializing in web, flash and illustration. Sam created the Jamble logo, and coming soon, Jamble t-shirts and bags.

Jenny Calvert - Contributor. Jenny is a freelancer writer with a love of surfing. She is currently based in Cardiff and is working as an Events and Press Officer for Welsh Charity Dolen Cymru, who link Wales with Lesotho in Southern Africa!

Amy Harker-Clarke - Contributor. Amy is a freelance writer from London, who is currently undertaking an extended overland adventure through Asia and Europe.
